Job summary

YEW SENG HENG ENGINEERING PTE LTD invites a diligent Site Supervisor to oversee plumbing and sanitary works on construction sites, monitor progress, inspect workmanship, and ensure safety compliance.

You will liaise with project engineers, coordinate material issuance, and brief workers on daily tasks and PPE, while striving to minimize waste and downtime. The role requires 1+ year in plumbing/construction, a diploma, and strong teamwork to coordinate with site workers and the project team.

Qualifications

• Technical or vocational certificate/diploma in Mechanical, Building Services, Plumbing, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in plumbing, sanitary, or general construction works.
• Able to read basic construction and isometric drawings.
• Familiar with common plumbing materials, tools, and on-site practices.
• Basic knowledge of workplace safety procedures and construction site protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Engineers in supervising and coordinating site works related to plumbing and sanitary systems.
• Monitor daily site activities to ensure work progresses according to schedule and standards.
• Carry out site inspections to ensure workmanship and installation meet quality expectations.
• Support in preparing material take-offs and coordinating with store personnel for material issuance.
• Ensure proper usage, storage, and handling of materials and tools to reduce waste.
• Relay and implement work instructions issued by Project Engineers and Project Managers.
• Brief workers on daily work tasks, safety procedures, and ensure use of PPE.
• Ensure that all workers comply with safety rules and site regulations at all times.
• Prepare basic daily work reports and submit progress updates to the Project Engineer.
• Assist in resolving site-level coordination or manpower issues as instructed.
