Job summary

A N S Plumbing & Sanitary Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Plumbing Supervisor to lead on-site operations for commercial, industrial, and residential projects in Singapore. You will supervise plumbers and workers, ensure compliance with PUB, COPSSW, and safety standards, and coordinate with main contractors and RTOs.

The role requires hands-on supervision, ability to read M&E drawings, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• At least 4 to 5 years of hands-on supervisory experience in plumbing and sanitary works within Singapore.
• Possess mandatory safety certificates (e.g., BCSS / Supervise Construction Work for WSH).
• Bonus: Certificates in Confined Space Supervision or Lifting Operations are highly advantageous.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction and plumbing drawings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate a team of plumbers and general workers on-site to ensure project milestones are met safely and on schedule.
• Liaise with Main Contractors, RTOs, and consultants for daily site operations, coordination meetings, and inspection clearances.
• Review and interpret M&E drawings, sanitary layouts, and schematic diagrams to ensure accurate site execution.
• Prepare and apply for Permits-to-Work (PTW), Work Method Statements (WMS), and Risk Assessments (RA).
• Oversee site material indenting, inventory control, and logistical planning to prevent project delays.
• Conduct and document testing procedures (e.g., hydrostatic pressure testing, smoke testing, and low-pressure air tests) for RTO endorsement.
• Ensure all site works comply strictly with PUB regulations, COPSSW, and WSH safety standards.
