Job summary

WSP CONSULTANCY PTE. LTD. seeks a Scheduler/Programmer with strong Primavera P6 experience to monitor and develop project schedules. The role requires coordination with the OIC, Project Director, and stakeholders, ensuring timely responses to delays and changes.

The ideal candidate holds a CIVIL/STRUCTURAL engineering degree and 5+ years in construction scheduling, with expert knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Office tools, capable of working independently and in teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of construction scheduling experience.
• At least 2.5 years in developing schedules using Primavera P6.
• Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or relevant field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Word; Primavera P6 expert.

Responsibilities

• Track and monitor baseline and working programmes.
• Review S-curve, cost loading, and flag concerns to OIC and Project Director.
• Prepare dashboard reports on progress and S-curve for stakeholders.
• Assess extensions of time and time claims with recommendations.
• Develop production rates and compare with latest programme.
• Report potential delays related to procurement, delivery, installation.
• Assist in preparing presentation materials for stakeholders.

Job description

The Scheduler / Programmer shall report to CAG and his appointed consultants and shall be required to perform but not limited to the following:

• Track, monitor the main contractor's baseline programme and working programme;
• Review the main contractor's S-curve, cost loading and highlight areas of concerns to the OIC and Project Director;
• Prepare dashboard report on Progress Status, S-Curve and areas of concerns, etc., including presentation to stakeholders, if any;
• Assessment and evaluation of extension of time and time claim notifications with recommendations to the OIC and Project Director;
• Develop and update various realistic trades productivities for comparison with the main contractor's latest program and highlight key discrepancies and assumptions as the project progresses;
• Report and highlight to the OIC and Project Director on any potential delays based on contractor's latest programme, e.g., procurement of materials/sub-contractors, delivery, installation etc.;
• Feedback site issues, discrepancies, and irregularities to the client;
• Be conversant with all procedures in the latest versions of Changi Aerodrome Manual, Airside Works Procedures Manual, Airport Operational and Safety (AOS) requirements, and CAG Engineering & Development Group's Safety Management System Manual; to make conscious effort to be constantly updated on any subsequent revisions to the above-mentioned manuals, procedures and all applicable airport circulars;
• Assist in preparing presentation materials for presentations to CAG, Authorities, Stakeholders and interface parties to provide information and updates.
• Undertake any other duties including administrative tasks related to the project as and when instructed by CAG.

Requirements

• The Scheduler / Programmer shall possess at least five (5) years of relevant construction experience with at least 2.5 years of experience in development of project schedules for every phase of the construction project life-span by using Primavera P6
• The Scheduler / Programmer shall possess a Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or relevant discipline;
• The Scheduler / Programmer shall have experience in scheduling for projects of similar scale, complexity and nature of works;
• The Scheduler / Programmer shall possess intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, Power Point and Word; in addition, the Scheduler / Programmer shall also be proficient in Primavera P6;
• The Scheduler / Programmer shall be able to work independently, a strong team player and to handle fast paced projects;
• The Scheduler / Programmer shall have good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders across all levels and have good presentation skills.
