Job summary

• Willingness to travel to project sites.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and all project operations.

• Maintain site document filing and records per ISO standards.

• Monitor quality of project delivery to meet requirements and regulations.
• Oversee project team and subcontractors to meet completion date.
• Provide leadership to the project management and construction team.
• Supervise daily site activities.

• Manage operational cost to keep cost within the budget.
• Manage site document filing and record keeping in accordance with International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) standards.
• Manage subcontractors’ activities to ensure compliance of contract requirements.
• Monitor compliance of work with the workplace safety and health regulations.
• Monitor quality of project delivery to make sure they meet project requirements and regulations.
• Oversee the project team and subcontractors in delivery of project to meet completion date.
• Provide leadership to the project management and construction team.
• Supervise daily site activities.

Requirements

• Min Degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering (Degree must be recognized by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore).
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in managing construction projects for water treatment facility or process plant.
• Professional project management certification (eg. PMP, CITPM, etc) is preferred.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
• Good communication skills to liaise with the various stakeholders.
• Hands-on” attitude, meticulous and analytical with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure, resourceful and independent with good negotiation skills.
• Able to work under tight deadlines.
