Lead the process and mechanical team for process plant EPC project, including design, engineering, supporting procurement & installation, and testing & commissioning works
Review tender specifications and meticulously evaluate vendor proposals for process mechanical equipment, propose suitable equipment brands for tender submission and procurement, prepare cost estimations for process mechanical work during the tender stage
Provide support during the procurement, contract negotiation, and progress claim processes throughout project execution
Lead testing and commissioning activities, ensuring the seamless transition to operational status
Plan and manage the process mechanical work schedule, and keep the Management Team informed of project progress, emerging issues, and resource requirements
Deliver technical presentations to clients and consultants, responding to their inquiries and comments in a professional manner
Manage the process mechanical suppliers and subcontractors according to establish schedule and quality requirement
Requirements
Minimum bachelor degree in Chemical/Environmental/Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent.
Minimum 8 years’ proven experience in process/mechanical design of process plant (incineration plant, water/wastewater plant, etc.), at least 2 years’ experience in leadership or team lead role. Experience in the Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD) wastewater treatment system is an advantage.
In-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards and Singapore codes of practice.
Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a track record of resolving complex technical issues.
Proficiency in using commonly used software applications such as MS Office.
Familiarity with Naviswork and Bentley View Software for P&ID is considered an added advantage.
Strong leadership abilities, including the capability to lead a team effectively.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate technical discussions and collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels within the organization.
