Salt Digital Recruitment is seeking a seasoned Project Manager / PMO Specialist for a senior, client-facing consulting engagement in a manufacturing tech transformation. The role covers design to deployment across an enterprise planning solution, with emphasis on governance, stakeholder management, and cross-team coordination.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in PMO/tech consulting, strong delivery discipline, and experience with planning or supply chain tech.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of PMO/tech consulting or enterprise software delivery experience.
• Proven experience delivering complex software solutions in manufacturing environments.
• Experience with planning or supply chain tech such as Kinaxis, RELEX, Blue Yonder, Anaplan or GAINSystems is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders and politically sensitive projects.
• Based in Singapore or Johor Bahru with on-site travel to client locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a complex enterprise software implementation within manufacturing or supply chain.
• Establish and maintain robust project governance, delivery plans, milestones, RAID logs, reporting and escalation processes.
• Manage the project through the software development lifecycle from design to deployment and transition.
• Facilitate customer workshops and regular face-to-face meetings; ensure decisions and actions are documented.
• Balance the interests of customer, software vendor, SI and consulting teams.
• Identify delivery risks and conflicts early; take decisive action to maintain momentum.
• Navigate stakeholder dynamics with diplomacy, resilience and sound judgement.
• Hold delivery teams and stakeholders accountable while maintaining constructive relationships.
• Provide clear status reporting and recommendations to senior sponsors.

About the Opportunity

Salt is partnering with a leading international consulting organisation to appoint an experienced Project Manager / PMO Specialist for a complex software transformation within a manufacturing environment.

This is a senior, client-facing consulting engagement supporting the implementation of enterprise planning solutions. The project has recently commenced and is currently in the Design phase. The successful candidate will provide structured delivery leadership, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and ensure alignment between the customer, software vendor, and wider project team.

We are seeking a seasoned professional who can bring discipline, commercial awareness, and the confidence to drive delivery in a demanding and politically nuanced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the delivery of a complex enterprise software implementation within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
• Establish and maintain robust project governance, delivery plans, milestones, RAID logs, reporting, and escalation processes.
• Manage the project through the software development lifecycle, from design and requirements through implementation, testing, deployment, and transition.
• Facilitate customer workshops and regular face-to-face meetings, ensuring decisions, actions, and deliverables are clearly documented and followed through.
• Balance the interests and expectations of the customer, software vendor, systems integrator, and consulting stakeholders.
• Identify delivery risks, dependencies, and potential conflicts early, taking decisive action to maintain project momentum.
• Navigate complex stakeholder dynamics with diplomacy, resilience, and sound judgement.
• Hold delivery teams and stakeholders accountable for commitments while maintaining constructive working relationships.
• Provide clear, concise status reporting and recommendations to senior project sponsors and leadership.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in project management, PMO, technology consulting, or enterprise software delivery.
• Proven experience delivering complex software solutions in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and enterprise implementation methodologies.
• Experience working within a Big Four consulting firm, major technology consultancy, or dedicated systems integrator is highly desirable.
• Exposure to planning or supply chain technology solutions such as Kinaxis, RELEX, Blue Yonder, John Galt, Anaplan, or GAINSystems would be a significant advantage.
• Experience implementing planning solutions, whether within a consulting organisation, systems integrator, or software vendor, is particularly relevant.
• Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders, competing priorities, and politically sensitive project environments.
• A pragmatic, assertive delivery style with the ability to challenge constructively and drive accountability.
• Excellent communication, workshop facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Based in Singapore or Johor Bahru and able to travel on-site to the customer for workshops and regular meetings.

Engagement Details

The engagement is expected to require approximately two days per week over a period of around 40 weeks. The schedule will be flexible and may include short planned breaks around the Christmas and Chinese New Year holiday periods.
