in Singapore seeks an experienced project lead to plan and schedule underground drives, shaft and chamber construction, and utility diversions, coordinating with clients and consultants to keep programs on track. You will manage permits with LTA, PUB, and BCA, oversee MTBM activities and deep excavations, enforce safety culture, control budgets, and lead site engineers and subcontractors to deliver quality work.

Formación

• Minimum 10 years in main contractor or 12 years in subcontractor roles.
• Pipe jacking, civil or infra experience preferred.
• Class 3 driving licence preferred.
• Experience on PUB projects is an advantage.
• Ability to coordinate with authorities (LTA, PUB, BCA) for permits.
• Strong leadership and site supervision skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop comprehensive work sequences, site setups, and master schedules for underground drives, shaft/chamber construction, and utility diversions.
• Coordinate and secure permits and plan approvals from Singapore authorities before work starts.
• Manage risks related to MTBM operations, earth retaining structures, and deep excavations.
• Control project expenditures, track milestones, and ensure completion within budget.
• Lead, train, and supervise site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Enforce safety standards and manage emergency response in tunnels/shafts.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, RTOs, REs, and other stakeholders on progress and issues.

* Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop comprehensive work sequences, site setups, and master schedules for underground drives, shaft/chamber construction, and utility diversions.

* Regulatory & Authority Approvals: Coordinate and secure necessary permits, clearances, and plan approvals from Singapore authorities (such as LTA, PUB, or BCA) prior to work commencement.

* Technical & Geotechnical Oversight: Manage risks associated with varying ground conditions, micro-tunnel boring machine (MTBM) operations, earth retaining structures, and deep excavations.

* Cost & Budget Management: Control project expenditures, track financial milestones, monitor resource allocation, and ensure completion within the approved contractual budget.

* Team & Subcontractor Leadership: Lead, train, and supervise site engineers, supervisors, jacking machine operators, and subcontractors to maintain high productivity and quality standards.

* Safety, Health & Environment (EHS): Enforce strict workplace safety standards, promote a strong safety culture, manage emergency response protocols inside tunnels/shafts, and comply with Singapore's MOM/NEA environmental regulations.

* Stakeholder Management: Liaise regularly with clients, consultants, Resident Technical Officers (RTOs), Resident Engineers (REs), and public/private stakeholders regarding progress and site issues.
