Job description

The Project Manager (Plans and Accounting Systems) will lead continuous innovation and enhancements of DSTA Plans and Accounting systems. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and digital solutions to create a more integrated, efficient and future-ready environment for project and plans processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategise and develop new capabilities and continuous enhancements to enterprise systems and innovations covering the project lifecycle, Finance and PRM, and compliance.
• Partner with business owners to drive process re‑engineering to streamline and integrate end‑to‑end business needs to better support complex projects and plans.
• Lead the frontend capability development for new high‑impact initiatives such as AI‑driven project lifecycle capabilities to enhance planning, delivery, governance and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
• At least 5 years of experience in IT project management
• Experience in large‑scale implementations and maintenance, including design, build, test, deployment, operational readiness and post‑go‑live support
• Strong understanding of project management life cycle and practices
• Familiarity or prior experience on using User Experience (UX) as a strategic pillar of IT transformation, cloud and on‑premise technologies would be advantageous
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
• Self‑driven, organised and able to lead cross‑functional teams
