Job summary

BOND M & E PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced engineer to design mechanical and electrical systems and oversee site execution. The role requires coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors, plus guiding engineers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and compliance.

The candidate should have 5+ years in M&E design with strong knowledge of site management, budgets, and safety. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is preferred, with readiness for field-based duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' mechanical & electrical system design experience.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical & Electrical or related discipline.
• Good site management and budget control abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of M&E installation, architecture, structure, and local construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute contracts progress on site.
• Design mechanical and electrical systems.
• Monitor site progress and liaise with clients, consultants, main contractor, subcontractors, and authorities.
• Report progress and site issues to Project Director/PM.
• Attend site meetings and daily briefings.
• Guide and supervise engineers and technicians.
• Check drawings and prepare schedules.
• Prepare subcontractors' progress claims and quotations.
• Supervise work progression, ensure quality control and safety compliance.
• Perform testing and commissioning at site.
• Maintain proper records for M&E issues.
• Involve in tender activities.

Job Description :

• Responsible for all the execution of contracts progress
• To design mechanical & electrical system
• Monitor site progress as well as liaises with Clients, Consultants, main contractor, Subcontractors & authorities to ensure efficient and timely delivery assignment
• Report the site progress & site issue to Project Director / Project General Manager / Senior Project Manager
• To attend meetings & daily briefing at site
• To guide & supervise Engineers / Assistant Engineers / Supervisors
• To check drawings & prepare relevant schedule
• To prepare check sub-contractor’s progress claim and prepare quotation
• To monitor & supervise work progression, Quality Control & ensure that safety regulation is observed.
• To perform testing and commissioning at work site
• Maintain proper record for M&E issue
• To involve in Tender

Requirements :

• Preferably possess Diploma or Degree in Mechanical & Electrical or a related discipline. Candidates with other qualifications and relevant experience are welcome to apply.
• Preferably with a minimum of 5 years’ mechanical &electrical system design knowledge.
