Job summary

Our Singapore-based client, a well-established company in lift and escalator projects, seeks a Project Manager. You will lead modernization and installation projects, coordinate with clients and suppliers, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with safety and quality in mind.

Responsibilities include developing workflows, driving continuous improvements, and leading project engineers and site staff. Strong leadership, planning, and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Project Management, or related field.
• Min 3–5 years of experience in Lift/Escalator construction or related industries.
• Experience in lift installation, modernization, or maintenance projects.
• Experience leading project teams is a plus.
• Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead lift modernization and installation projects from planning through completion.
• Ensure projects are on schedule, budget, quality and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, report to Management.
• Develop and implement standardized project workflows and processes.
• Identify improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Lead and supervise project engineers and site personnel.
• Plan manpower and resource allocation; foster teamwork and safety.
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships and ensure satisfaction.

Our clientis a well-established company specialised in private home, commercial lifts and escalators. Due to fast expansion, they are actively seeking for Project Manager.

Responsibilities:

Project Management

• Lead and manage lift modernization and installation projects from planning through completion.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality, safety, and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, resolve issues, and provide regular reports to Management.

Operations & Process Improvement

• Develop and implement standardized project workflows and operational procedures.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Support process optimization, documentation, and digitalization initiatives.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and supervise project engineers, supervisors, and site personnel.
• Plan manpower and resource allocation to maximize project efficiency.
• Foster teamwork, accountability, and a strong safety culture.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
• Attend project meetings, site inspections, and client coordination meetings.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication and effective issue resolution.

Compliance

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
• Promote safe work practices across all project sites.

Requirement:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Project Management, or a related discipline.

• Min 3 -5 years of experience in the Lift and Escalator/ Construction or similar industry

• Experience in lift installation, modernization, or maintenance projects.

• Experience leading project teams is an advantage.

• Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.

• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
