Job summary

recruitpedia pte. ltd. in Singapore seeks a Project Manager (Civil/Mechanical) to lead on-site teams, ensure quality and safety, and deliver projects on schedule.

You will coordinate with clients, consultants, and vendors while controlling budgets and resources. Responsibilities include planning, site surveys, reporting, approvals, and risk mitigation. The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Engineering, at least 3 years of relevant experience, CSCPM certification, and strong communication skills

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering (Civil) or related field required.
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field.
• CSCPM Certification or Construction Safety Course for Project Managers is required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all project activities, the field team, and on-site personnel, ensuring quality and safety standards are upheld at all times.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, manage budgets and cost control, and comply with contractual scopes and specifications.
• Prepare and submit progress reports, progress claims, safety reports, purchase requisitions for materials, and ad-hoc project reports.
• Liaise with clients and consultants on design matters, and coordinate with management, supply chain, vendors, suppliers, sub-contractors, and internal support functions.
• Coordinate with Architects/Consultants/Main Contractors/Vendors/Sub-Contractors/Clients and Authorities.
• Take full accountability for the overall financial outcome of each project, monitor progress and mitigate cost overruns.
• Lead the project team in executing projects and carry out planning and resource allocation.
• Conduct site surveys (pre-commencement, post-project, etc.).
• Handle documentation and communicate with external parties and internal departments (drawings approvals, samples, schedules, delays, clarifications, EOT).
• Attend site meetings with customers and vendors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics), Project Management, or equivalent.

• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

• WSQ Manage Workplace Safety and Health in Construction Sites (CSCPM) or Construction Safety Course for Project Managers – CSCPM Certification.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.

• Effective communication (written and verbal) and negotiation skills.

• Able to multitask and manage time efficiently.

• Able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• A good team player who is also able to work independently with minimum supervision.
