Job summary

Kerry Consulting in Singapore is recruiting a Manager / Senior Manager, SAP Finance Transformation to lead a major ERP programme in a regulated financial services context.

You will drive SAP Finance streams (GL, AP, AR, FA), translate business requirements into functional designs, and oversee data migration, testing and cutover, while ensuring controls and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Approximately 10-15 years of relevant experience in Finance transformation, ERP implementation, or project delivery.
• Hands-on SAP Finance experience, ideally SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC, with exposure to GL, AP, AR and FA.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP Finance workstreams covering General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets.
• Translate business requirements into functional solutions and design future-state processes and controls.
• Support solution design, functional documentation, system configuration, data mapping and migration, testing and defect resolution.
• Manage project risks, dependencies, cutover, go-live and post-implementation stabilisation.
• Collaborate across Finance, Technology, Operations, Risk and Compliance to meet accounting, controls and regulatory requirements.

Description

This leading financial institution has a well-established presence and is undertaking a major Finance ERP transformation programme. As part of this strategic investment, the organisation is recruiting an experienced Manager / Senior Manager, SAP Finance Transformation, to be based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

Working closely with Finance stakeholders, Technology teams and external implementation partners, you will lead key SAP Finance workstreams covering General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets. You will gather and translate business requirements into functional solutions, review existing finance processes, and design appropriate future-state processes and controls. This is a hands-on delivery role where you will actively support solution design, functional documentation, system configuration, data mapping and migration, reconciliation, testing and defect resolution. You will also manage project risks and dependencies, maintain requirements traceability, and support cutover, go-live and post-implementation stabilisation. Collaborating across Finance, Technology, Operations, Risk and Compliance, you will ensure that solutions meet accounting, control, reporting and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems or a related discipline, you possess approximately 10-15 years of relevant experience in Finance transformation, ERP implementation, functional business analysis or project delivery. You must have worked within banking, insurance, asset management or another regulated financial-services environment. Hands-on SAP Finance experience, ideally involving SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC, is essential. Direct exposure to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets is strongly preferred. You possess a sound understanding of accounting processes, financial controls, reconciliations and financial reporting, together with proven experience across requirements gathering, process design, testing, data migration and implementation. You are detail-oriented, delivery-focused and comfortable bridging Finance and Technology teams. CA, CPA, ACCA or an equivalent professional accounting qualification would be advantageous. Candidates from consulting firms with relevant financial-services implementation experience will also be considered.
