About the role

MIN HAWK PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Facade) to join our dynamic construction team. This is a full-time position based in Kampong Ubi Central Region. As Project Manager (Facade), you will be responsible for overseeing and managing facade projects from inception through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is critical to our business, as facade work represents a significant and specialized component of our construction operations. You will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of facade construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines and milestones
• Monitor project costs and manage budgets, identifying and implementing cost-saving measures where appropriate
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to ensure facade work meets contractual specifications and industry standards
• Liaise with architects, engineers, and design teams to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of facade designs and specifications
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers, including procurement, performance monitoring, and dispute resolution
• Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, variation orders, and safety records
• Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans to address potential issues
• Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders, providing updates on project status and addressing concerns promptly
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on all project sites
• Lead and mentor project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry, with substantial experience specifically in facade or curtain wall projects
• Advanced knowledge of facade systems, materials, and installation methodologies, including wet and dry facade technologies
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale facade projects on time and within budget
• Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and construction standards relevant to facade work
• Excellent project planning and scheduling skills, with proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera)
• Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and financial management
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to work effectively with diverse teams
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and manage team members
• Relevant qualifications such as a Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent professional qualification
• Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent are highly desirable
• Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese is preferred to facilitate communication with international teams and clients
