Job summary

JAC Recruitment Pte Ltd is seeking an ERP Project Manager (Japanese Speaker) based in Singapore with full onsite duties. You will oversee the entire ERP implementation lifecycle, from planning to execution, leading budgets, schedules, and stakeholder engagement while defining business and system requirements in alignment with Odoo functionality.

• Experience with packaged software implementations, ERP/SCM, Fit-to-Standard, and data migration.
• Fluency in Japanese and English for global team and client communication.

Job description

The Project Manager (ERP) - Japanese Speaker role oversees the entire lifecycle of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation projects, from planning through execution. Based in Singapore under a fully onsite working arrangement, the position combines project leadership, stakeholder engagement, and hands‑on business and system requirements definition.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Management
  • Lead budget and schedule estimation, task definition, and progress and issue management
  • Drive reporting and consensus-building with stakeholders
• Business & System Requirements Definition
  • Engage closely with client operations
  • Lead hands‑on requirements definition, including business process design and alignment with standard Odoo functionality

Requirements

• Client engagement and negotiation skills: Ability to deeply understand client business and operations, negotiate between budgets and system requirements, manage stakeholder interests, and build trusted relationships
• IT project leadership experience, especially in global environments: Experience not only in execution, but also in project planning, including schedule, task, and issue management methods, governance structures, and deliverable definitions
• Packaged software implementation experience: Understanding of and experience with ERP/SCM implementation processes such as Fit-to-Standard and data migration
• Proficiency in both Japanese and English for smooth communication among globally distributed project members, including clients, internal teams, and offshore resources
