Job summary

Harvest Consulting Engineers LLP in Singapore is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead civil, structural and geotechnical design projects from inception to completion. You will drive project lifecycles, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure technical excellence, safety, and profitability.

You will manage scope, schedule and budgets, oversee contracts and variations, liaise with clients and regulators, and secure timely approvals from BCA, LTA, PUB and URA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Singapore construction industry.
• At least 3 years in a project management or lead coordinator role.
• PMP certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore construction regulations and authority submissions.
• Proven leadership and commercial acumen to manage complex projects.

Job Title: Project Manager (Civil, Structural & Geotechnical Consultancy)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead engineering design projects from inception to successful completion. Joining our established Civil, Structural & Geotechnical consultancy team, you will act as the keydriver for project lifecycles, managing multidisciplinary stakeholders and ensuring high standards of technical excellence, safety, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Delivery & Lifecycles Management: Lead engineering design projects from inception to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and under budget while maintaining strict technical and safety standards.
• Commercial & Contract Management: Oversee project financials through resource allocation optimization and budget tracking. Manage consultancy contracts, variation orders (VOs), billing milestones, and overall project profitability.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between clients, architects, main contractors, and MEP consultants. Coordinate multi-disciplinary interfaces to ensure seamless project execution and reporting.
• Authority Approvals & Submissions: Manage the master submission schedule to local regulatory bodies (BCA, LTA, PUB, URA). Coordinate closely with Qualified Persons (QPs) to secure timely clearances and permits.
• Risk & Quality Management: Proactively identify project risks, mitigate delays, and manage engineering resource scheduling. Maintain compliance with corporate quality management systems.

Job Requirements

• Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Project Management, or a related built-environment discipline from a recognized institution.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Singapore construction industry, with at least 3 years in a project management or lead coordinator role within a C&S consultancy or developer environment.
• Certification: Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of Singapore’s construction regulations, building control acts, and authority submission procedures.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, commercial acumen, negotiation capabilities, and sharp problem-solving skills to manage complex project timelines and diverse project teams.

Remuneration & Benefits

• Monthly Base Salary: SGD4,000 – SGD5,500 per month (Commensurate with experience, project portfolio, and specific certifications).
• Benefits: Annual Wage Supplement (AWS/13th month), performance-based project bonuses, comprehensive medical insurance, and professional membership subsidies.
