Job summary

KOE Consulting Pte. Ltd. seeks a Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager to plan, coordinate and drive a large-scale semiconductor/high-tech facility project in Singapore.

You will ensure safety, quality, and adherence to programme and budget while coordinating consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams. The role requires experience managing complex construction delivery, strong leadership and excellent stakeholder management, with the ability to resolve technical issues

Qualifications

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant construction experience, preferably with a main contractor.
  • Experience in semiconductor/high-tech/industrial projects is advantageous.
  • Strong subcontractor and stakeholder management across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate construction across civil, structural, architectural and MEP disciplines.
  • Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and authorities to resolve issues and ensure smooth execution.
  • Review drawings, specs, defects and variations for accuracy before execution and payment certification.
  • Plan and monitor subcontractor progress, schedules, manpower, logistics, and meetings.
  • Drive teams to achieve programme milestones and project targets.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to project team members on site.
  • Identify risks and coordinate solutions with stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery, productivity, quality and safety.

Job description

As a Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and driving the delivery of a large-scale semiconductor / high-tech facility project, ensuring construction activities are executed safely, to the required quality standards, within programme and budget.

You will work closely with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams to coordinate multidisciplinary works and ensure key project milestones are achieved.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate construction activities across civil, structural, architectural and MEP disciplines, ensuring works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
  • Liaise closely with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and relevant authorities to resolve technical and construction issues and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Review construction drawings, details, specifications, defects and variations to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to execution and subcontractor payment certification.
  • Plan, monitor and forecast subcontractor progress, including weekly work schedules, manpower requirements, site logistics and daily coordination meetings.
  • Drive subcontractors and project teams to achieve programme milestones, quality standards and project targets.
  • Monitor site productivity and provide guidance, coaching and supervision to project team members.
  • Identify potential construction risks, delays and coordination issues, and work proactively with relevant stakeholders to implement solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery, productivity, quality and safety.
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant construction experience, preferably with a main contractor.
  • Experience in semiconductor, high-tech, industrial, cleanroom or advanced manufacturing projects will be highly advantageous.
  • Proven experience managing project deliverables, milestones, programme and cost.
  • Strong subcontractor and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple disciplines and teams.
  • Good understanding of construction processes, drawings, site coordination and project controls.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication and leadership skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, technically complex project environment.
