Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in construction project management or site management.
• Knowledge of Singapore building regulations, construction practices, and statutory requirements.
• Strong project planning, coordination, and site management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise day-to-day construction activities to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Monitor project schedules, site progress, and resource allocation to ensure timely project completion.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers on project-related matters.
• Manage site manpower, including supervisors, subcontractors, and workers to ensure efficient site operations.
• Oversee project execution in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Monitor non-compliance issues and ensure timely rectification of defects prior to project handover.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules, progress reports, technical documentation, and site records.
• Monitor project costs, material usage, and construction progress.
• Maintain proper documentation for inspections, approvals, and project correspondence.
• Assist in project meetings and provide regular updates to management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, company policies, and statutory requirements.
• Enforce quality control procedures and safe work practices on site.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities and consultants to obtain necessary inspections and approvals.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and project management software
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills

• Experience in pharmaceutical, process plant, industrial, or commercial construction projects
• Exposure to EPC or EPCM project environments
• Understanding of construction sequencing, site installation practices, and project handover processes
• Able to work in a fast-paced construction environment and manage multiple site activities concurrently
