Job summary

A1 main contractor in Singapore is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a mixed development building project. You will oversee site operations, coordinating engineers, supervisors and subcontractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high safety and quality standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and 8–12 years of experience in commercial building projects.

About the Company & Role

We are partnering with a well-established A1 main contractor with a strong track record in delivering residential, industrial, commercial and mixed development across Singapore. Due to upcoming project demands, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of the mixed development building project.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full project lifecycle - from planning, coordination, to successful handover.
• Oversee site operations, ensuring progress aligns with timeline, cost, safety, and quality standards.
• Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary project team including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate closely with consultants, authorities, and stakeholders to drive smooth project execution.
• Monitor project risks, propose mitigation measures, and ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Manage budgets, progress claims, VO submissions, and procurement of key materials.
• Provide timely reporting to senior management on project status and key milestones.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in the construction sector with strong understanding of commercial building projects (offices, mixed-use developments, or similar).
• Proven leadership in managing medium to large-scale projects as a Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer stepping up.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience liaising with consultants, authorities, and subcontractors.
• Solid understanding of local building codes, safety regulations, and project management best practices.
• Driven, hands-on, and able to lead fast-paced construction environments.
