Job summary

MRG Global is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee high-end corporate and office fit-out projects in Singapore. You will manage projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover, ensuring safety, schedule, budget and quality standards are met.

You will lead project programmes, coordinate with clients, consultants, designers, subcontractors and suppliers, and drive progress through regular meetings with senior management. Singapore experience is highly desirable.

Job description

Our client, a leading fit-out main contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of high-end corporate and office fit-out projects in Singapore.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall delivery of corporate and commercial office fit-out projects.


• Manage projects from pre-construction, mobilisation and construction through to completion and handover.


• Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, resources and delivery plans.


• Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, designers, subcontractors and suppliers.


• Manage site teams and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered in accordance with project requirements.


• Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation and identify potential issues or discrepancies.


• Monitor project progress against programme, budget and quality requirements.


• Manage project variations, commercial issues and change orders.


• Coordinate MEP, architectural, finishes and specialist fit-out works.


• Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, statutory requirements and quality standards.


• Identify and resolve construction, technical, programme and coordination issues.


• Lead regular project meetings and provide progress updates to senior management and clients.


• Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.


• Ensure health, safety and environmental requirements are fully implemented.


• Coordinate testing, inspections, snagging, rectification and final handover.


• Ensure all project documentation, as-built information and handover requirements are completed.


• Drive the successful completion of projects to the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Degree, diploma or relevant qualification in Construction, Building, Engineering or a related discipline.


• 7+ years' experience in construction or interior fit-out project delivery.


• Proven experience working for a fit-out main contractor.


• Strong track record delivering corporate, commercial and Grade A office fit-out projects.


• Experience managing projects from mobilisation through to completion and handover.


• Strong knowledge of interior construction, architectural finishes and MEP coordination.


• Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and client representatives.


• Strong understanding of project programmes, budgets, variations and construction methodologies.


• Excellent project management, leadership and stakeholder management skills.


• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.


• Ability to manage multiple project priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


• Singapore fit-out experience is highly desirable.

Strong corporate / office fit-out experience with a main contractor is essential.

Salary: SGD 7,000 - SGD 8,000 per month
