Job summary

Accent Engineering PTE LTD is seeking an engineer to review ACMV system design plans and ensure compliance with codes and project specifications. The role involves supervising on-site installation, coordinating with vendors, and supporting the Project Manager to meet schedules.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with air ducts, chilled piping, and associated equipment, with knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit considered a plus. Willingness to learn and adapt is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience in ACMV systems is preferred or willingness to learn
• Ability to review plans and specifications for code compliance
• Strong coordination with vendors and sub-contractors

Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specifications to ensure ACMV system design meets standards and regulations
• Supervise and inspect works progress on ACMV system – air duct, chilled piping and equipment installation
• Check site installation work as per approved drawings and follow up on progress
• Prepare standard detail drawings for project and shop drawings
• Liaise with vendors and sub-contractors for material proposals and procurement
• Assist Project Manager to oversee overall project progress, manpower and schedule
• Experience with MOS and RA writing for different job scopes
• Experience in air and hydro testing, balancing activities

Roles & Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specifications to ensure that the ACMVsystem design meets the required standards, codes and regulations
• To ascertain ACMV equipment, materials, and component that meetsthe project requirements.
• Supervise, Monitor and inspect the works progress on ACMV system –air duct, chilled piping and equipmentinstallation.
• Knowledge of relevant ASTM & ASME standard is anadded advantage
• Check site installation work as per approved drawings
• Understand and able to prepare the standard detail drawing to suitthe respective project & shop drawings
• Able to use AutoCAD or Revit is an addedvalue.
• Check and follow up closely the daily site installation progressand able to take immediate action to tackle the delay.
• Able to liaise with different vendorsand sub-contractors for different types of materials to be proposed and submitfor approval and subsequently procure them upon approved.
• Able to understand the minor equipment take off from the shopdrawings and procure accordingly.
• Assist Project Manager to oversee overall project progress,manpower and monitor project schedule
• Knowledge and hands on of writing MOS and RA for the different jobscopes.
• Having experiences in air and hydro testing, adjusting andbalancing activities.
