Job summary

EXPONENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Project Manager to lead interior build projects and related construction works. The role involves travel to Indonesia, including Batam, as required, and supervision of a site team to ensure timely completion.

You will report to the Project Director, coordinate multiple projects, attend site meetings, and prepare schedules and daily site reports. A Diploma in Interior Design or related field and 5+ years of relevant experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Interior Design/ Building/ Architecture or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in the related industry; new build experience is a plus.
• A proactive team player but with the ability to work independently to meet tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
• Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good at paperwork and proficient in MS Word/ Excel/ Project.
• Strong technical knowledge in construction/interior works.

Responsibilities

• Reports to Project Director and oversees overall work activities.
• Manages multiple projects and coordinates with subcontractors.
• Ensures timely completion and high workmanship on site.

Please note that this role will support our Indonesia projects. The successful candidate must be willing to travel to Indonesia, including Batam, as required.

Job Responsibilities

• Reports to Project Director

• In charge of overall work activities.

• Manage to work on multiple projects.

• To fully perform the duties and responsibilities of a Project Manager as stated in the manual from which some of the functions are stated here.

• To provide daily work reports for management’s review including daily site reports.

• Organize work effectively and efferently to ensure timely completion of projects.

• Organize subcontractors to survey and carry out all stages of work.

• Ensure good workmanship are carried out for all site works.

• Able to effectively manage and supervise a team of construction workers.

• Attending site meetings to establish a scope of works.

• Prepare work schedule, project supervision and documentation.

• Assist in the preparation of tender documentation, e.g. project schedule.

Job Requirements
