Job summary

LUM CHANG BUILDING CONTRACTORS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an experienced project leader to oversee large-scale construction projects from design through completion, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

You will coordinate with subcontractors, architects, consultants and regulatory authorities, monitor WSH compliance, and develop relationships with prospective clients to secure future business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree related to built environment recognised by PE Board.
• 10+ years of managerial experience in large-scale projects.
• Dynamic, self-motivated and results-oriented with proven track record.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects meet schedule, cost and quality targets.
• Manage each project phase from design to completion and optimize resources.
• Liaise with subcontractors, architects, consultants and authorities; set guidelines and supervise the team.
• Monitor compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies and practices.
• Develop relationships with prospective customers for business development opportunities.

Your Role

• Responsible for the effective implementation and successful completion of projects undertaken by the Company within schedule, cost and quality.
• Manage each phase of the project from design to completion and ensure efficient use of resources and enhance cost-effectiveness.
• Liaise closely with subcontractors, architects, consultants and authorities; set guidelines and provide expertise and supervision to the team.
• Monitor compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies and practices.
• Develop relationships with prospective customers for business development opportunities

The Requirements

• Possess a Degree related to built environment and recognised by PE Board with more than 10 years’ relevant working experience at managerial level in managing mammoth projects.
• Be dynamic, self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a proven track record in the construction industry.
• Other pre-requisites are excellent team spirit, strong technical competence, good interpersonal skills and with a “can-do” attitude.
