Job summary

MICRO-FAB ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead semiconductor piping projects from initiation to handover in Singapore. You will manage budgets, schedules, and stakeholders, coordinate cross-functional teams, review drawings with AutoCAD, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in piping or construction project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role and CSCPM or equivalent certification.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field).
• CSCPM or equivalent certification preferred.
• 7–10 years in piping or construction project management; 3+ years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor facility protocols.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Own the full project lifecycle from tender through handover.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost control to meet profitability targets.
• Develop and maintain project schedules; coordinate resources, subs and suppliers.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, consultants and stakeholders; provide regular progress reports.
• Lead cross-functional teams to align on deliverables and resolve issues.
• Identify and mitigate risks; address technical, commercial, and site challenges.
• Ensure compliance with semiconductor facility protocols, safety, and quality standards.
• Communicate clearly to lead teams, negotiate with stakeholders, and report to senior management.

Job Summary

Lead and manage semiconductor piping projects from initiation to completion, overseeing budgets, schedules, and stakeholder relationships to ensure successful delivery in compliance with relevant quality and standards.

Responsibilities

• Own the full project lifecycle, from tender and contract award through design, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost control, ensuring profitability and financial targets are met.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating resources, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet key milestones.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders, providing regular progress reports and managing expectations.
• Lead cross-functional teams including project engineers, construction managers, drafters, and site supervisors to align on deliverables and resolve issues.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving technical, commercial, and site-related challenges to prevent delays and cost overruns.
• Ensure compliance with semiconductor facility protocols, safety regulations, and quality standards throughout the project.
• Communicate clearly and effectively in verbal and written forms to lead teams, negotiate with stakeholders, and present to senior management.

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field); CSCPM or equivalent certification is preferred
• Preferably at least 7–10 years of work experience in piping or construction project management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor facility protocols
• Familiarity with AutoCAD (ability to review drawings) and project management software
• Proven track record in budget management, contract negotiation, and client relationship management
