Job summary

MICRO-FAB ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a piping project engineer to manage planning, execution, and completion of piping projects within semiconductor facilities, ensuring technical compliance and timely delivery.

You will collaborate with drafters, site supervisors, and subcontractors; review P&IDs and isometrics; apply engineering principles to resolve clashes and optimize layouts; monitor progress and budgets, and report milestones to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field).
• Experience with AutoCAD (ability to review drawings).
• 2–3 years of piping engineering experience, preferably within the semiconductor or high-purity process industry.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor facility protocols (e.g., cleanroom standards).

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of piping projects, from initial design review and material procurement to site installation and final commissioning.
• Coordinate with drafters, site supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure piping designs are accurately translated into physical installations.
• Apply engineering principles and construction techniques to resolve site clashes, optimize layouts, and improve system efficiency.
• Review and interpret technical drawings (P&IDs, Isometrics, Layouts) to ensure compliance with semiconductor safety and quality standards.
• Track project progress, manage budgets, and prepare status reports for stakeholders to ensure milestones are met on time.
• Communicate clearly and effectively in verbal and written forms to bridge the gap between technical teams, management, and clients.
