Job summary

MICRO-FAB ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking an on-site Piping Construction Manager to lead site teams in semiconductor facilities, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials, review drawings with AutoCAD, and enforce strict cleanroom and facility standards.

Requirements include 5–7 years in piping construction with at least 2 years in a managerial role, and a Diploma or Engineering degree.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical, civil, or related engineering field.
• 5–7 years piping construction experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor facility protocols.
• Familiar with AutoCAD and basic project management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site piping construction activities and coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Lead site supervisors, subcontractors, and installation teams per drawings and specs.
• Enforce safety, cleanroom protocols, and facility standards across all construction activities.
• Develop schedules, resolve clashes, and maintain project timelines.
• Provide progress updates to engineers and clients and address concerns.
• Inspect quality and oversee testing/commissioning of piping systems.

Job Summary

Lead and oversee piping construction activities within semiconductor facilities, managing site teams, resources, and schedules to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and in compliance with relevant quality and standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day piping construction activities on-site, coordinating manpower, equipment, and materials to meet project milestones.
• Lead and supervise site supervisors, subcontractors, and installation teams to ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations, cleanroom protocols, and semiconductor facility standards across all construction activities.
• Develop and manage construction schedules, resolving site clashes, delays, and technical issues to maintain project timelines.
• Liaise with project engineers, clients, and stakeholders to provide progress updates, address concerns, and ensure alignment on deliverables.
• Conduct quality inspections and oversee testing/commissioning of piping systems to ensure compliance with high-purity and process requirements.
• Communicate clear and effectively in verbal and written forms to lead teams, report to management, and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related field)
• Preferably at least 5-7 years of work experience in piping construction, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor facility protocols
• Familiarity with AutoCAD (ability to review drawings) and project management software
