Job summary

Unitech E and C is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction projects in Singapore. You will plan and manage site organization, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure timely delivery in line with contract requirements.

Strong communication and leadership are essential for steering multi-disciplinary teams through progress reviews and regulatory approvals. The role requires a degree in Civil Engineering or MEP, at least 7 years in construction, and a minimum of 3 years in

• Degree in Civil Engineering or MEP or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in construction sector (preferably School/Nursing Home projects).
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience.
• Preferably with full cycle of project experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee site organization and resources.
• Map out overall Master Programme.
• Set project targets aligned with company goals.
• Oversee project team and subcontractors to meet approved completion dates.
• Ensure quality delivery and regulatory compliance; liaise with authorities and stakeholders.
• Submit progress claims, monthly reports and variations; manage EOT claims.
• Resolve site issues and coordinate with architects/consultants during site progression.

Job description

Project Management

• Plan & implement overall site organization & resources
• To map out overall Master Programme
• To set project’s target & in alignment to company’s objective/ goals
• To oversees the project team and sub-contractors in delivery of project in accordance to approved contract completion date/ stipulated phases
• To ensure quality delivery of the project by meeting of Client’s expectation and satisfying relevant authority and regulatory compliances
• To approve short-term/ phasing work schedule(s) submitted by subordinates
• To liaise with Architect/ Consultants in all aspects of construction matters during the site progression phase
• Submit progress claim and monthly report
• Submit variation order & EOT claim
• To resolve all site issues

Project Budget Control

• Plan and monitor preliminary cost budget to ensure project cost within approved budget
• To map out Projected S-Curve for project financial cash flow
• To implement control measures on material / plant & equipment / utilities usage
• Control of direct labour costs in labour allocation and working of overtime & etc

Technical Understanding

• Understanding of drawings, specification requirements and contract scope of works
