Job summary

METRO MARINE ENGINEERING & TRADING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead construction of marine and offshore projects, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to the highest shipbuilding standards.

You will coordinate with clients, classification societies, sub-contractors and vendors, and manage a PM team across multiple sites. Responsibilities include developing work schedules, controlling costs, procurement, and ensuring site safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading project management teams in marine or offshore construction.
• Strong coordination with internal/external stakeholders including clients, suppliers, and classification societies.
• Ability to manage multiple sites and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction of marine & offshore projects from engineering to delivery.
• Liaise with clients, classification societies, subcontractors and equipment vendors.
• Lead a project management team to meet schedule and budget to high shipbuilding standards.
• Oversee all sites including Anchorage and overseas jobs as needed.
• Prepare work schedules, monitor costing, procurement and coordination.
• Track project plans for timely completion and safe operations.

Job description

• To project manage construction of marine & offshore projects including mobile offshore units, offshore supply vessels and marine structures from engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and delivery.
• To liaise with internal and external clients during construction including classification societies, sub-contractors and equipment vendors.
• To lead a project management team and ensure that the project runs on schedule and within budget to the highest shipbuilding construction standard.
• To oversee all sites including Anchorage, Overseas job etc if supervision needed.
• Preparation of work schedule and monitoring project costing, work progress, procurement and coordination.
• Track project Plan for timely completion.
• Ensure site safety compliance is met.
