Job summary

snk (asia pacific) pte. ltd. is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead ACMV works for a large-scale data centre project in Singapore.

You will oversee planning, coordination, execution, testing & commissioning, and final handover, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and budget compliance. The role requires strong experience in M&E coordination, large-scale chilled water systems, and leadership of project engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, with a preference for data centre exposure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in M&E/ACMV construction projects.
• Experience as Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Construction Manager or Senior Project Engineer.
• Data Centre project experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage ACMV works for a large-scale data centre project in Singapore.
• Oversee overall planning, coordination, execution, testing & commissioning, and final handover.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and per specifications and contractual requirements.
• Review designs, identify risks, and propose practical solutions to client and consultants.
• Coordinate shop drawings, calculations, and engineering submissions for compliance.
• Develop and maintain the project master schedule and monitor progress against milestones.
• Monitor procurement, negotiate with suppliers, and place orders at competitive prices.
• Control project budget, manage variations, and maximize profitability via commercial management.
• Attend meetings with client and consultants to align requirements and on-site implementation.
• Manage project engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site manpower.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and timely risk mitigation.
• Ensure testing, commissioning, and final handover meet client performance requirements.

Job Summary

• Lead and manage the ACMV worksfor a large-scale data centre project in Singapore.
• Be responsible for overallplanning, coordination, execution, Testing & Commissioning (T&C), andfinal handover.
• Ensure all works are deliveredsafely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with projectspecifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities –Project Management & Execution

• Review design drawings toidentify potential issues, technical risks, and constructability concerns, andpropose practical solutions to the client and consultant.
• Lead, coordinate, and reviewshop drawings, technical calculations, and engineering submissions to ensurecompliance with project specifications and design requirements.
• Develop and maintain theproject master schedule, monitor actual progress against the planned schedule,and implement necessary corrective actions to achieve key project milestones.
• Review site requirements,procurement quantities, and technical specifications, negotiate with suppliersand subcontractors, and place orders at competitive and commercially reasonableprices.
• Closely monitor and control theproject budget, proactively manage all variations, additions, and omissionswith the client and subcontractors, and maximize project profitability througheffective commercial management.
• Manage all variations,additions, and omissions, prepare and submit quotations to the client asrequired, and closely follow up until formal approval is obtained.
• Attend regular meetings withthe client and consultants, discuss and coordinate technical matters,understand their requirements, and ensure proper implementation on site.
• Manage project engineers,supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site manpower.
• Conduct regular siteinspections to maintain construction quality, identify and rectify potentialquality issues, and prevent defects before they occur.
• Conduct regular siteinspections to maintain and improve site safety, identify and rectify potentialsafety hazards at an early stage, and proactively prevent accidents and safetyincidents.
• Manage and ensure propertesting and commissioning of the installed systems, verify compliance with theclient’s performance and functional requirements, and ensure successful finalhandover.
• Compile, review, and organizeall required project completion and handover documentation, and ensure that thefinal submission package is complete and properly prepared.

Experience

• Minimum 8 years of relevantexperience in M&E / ACMV construction projects, including experience as aProject Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Construction Manager, or SeniorProject Engineer.
• Strong experience in managinglarge-scale ACMV installation works.
• Previous Data Centre projectexperience is highly preferred.
• Experience with large-scalechilled water systems and mission-critical facilities will be a strongadvantage.
• Singapore construction projectexperience is preferred.
