Job summary

MCC Engineering (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a civil project manager to oversee construction from initiation to completion. You will obtain permits, ensure alignment with plans, and report progress to clients while managing budget, schedule and quality control.

The role requires coordination with architects, engineers, and contractors, plus strong English and Chinese communication skills and experience with concrete, tanks and piping would be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in civil engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years in construction, minimum 1 year with a main contractor.
• Must have construction safety course for project manager.
• Knowledge of QS and purchasing.
• Safety course for Project Managers; company will sponsor if not held.
• Completed at least one construction project from planning to completion.
• Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, AutoCAD).
• Strong written and communication skills in English and Chinese.
• Experience with building construction, concrete, tank and piping is advantageous.

• Ensures that all local, state, and national building codes and regulations and safety precautions are followed.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in civil engineering or equivalent
• At least 3 years working experience in construction industry, minimum one year with a main contractor
• Possess minimum construction safety course for project manager
• Possess knowledge on QS and purchasing
• Possess Safety Course for Project Managers, if not Company will send candidate for the course and candidate must be able to pass the course.
• Completed at least one construction project from planning stage till completion
• Computer literate (Ms word, Excel and Autocad)
• Possess strong written & communication skills (English and Chinese)
• Experience with building construction, concrete, tank and piping work would be advantageous
