Job summary

R SYSTEMS (SINGAPORE) PTE LIMITED is seeking an experienced Project Manager with product and operational expertise in banking and investments, preferably Wealth Management, to lead complex programs. You will own end-to-end project lifecycle, manage governance, stakeholder expectations, and executive communications across business and technology teams.

• Experienced project manager with product and operational expertise in banking and investments, preferably Wealth Management.
• Sound knowledge in Wealth operational process, investment products domain and services.
• Prior experience with large scale programs for private banks (or equivalent) is required.
• Demonstrated at least 10 years of experience in project management with the focus on financial services.
• Executive level communication skills with excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder and Communications Management: manage planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues.
• Continually manage stakeholder expectations through governance processes.
• Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication.
• Provide status reporting regarding milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and cross-stakeholder updates.
• Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives spanning one or more lines of business.
• Own the full project life cycle end to end.
• Ensure the program aligns to strategic objectives and delivers on scope, schedule, budget and quality.
• Prepare detailed project plans for all phases and manage day-to-day project activities and steering committees.
• Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs.
• Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues and critical path deliverables.

• Own the full project life cycle end to end.
• Ensure the program is aligned to and supports strategic objectives.
• Prepare detailed project plan for all phases of the project.
• Manage the day-to-day project activities, including project management working and steering committees.
• Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs.
• Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables.
• Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standard.

Requirement

• Experienced project manager with product and operational expertise in banking and investments, preferably Wealth Management.
• Sound knowledge in Wealth operational process, investment products domain and services.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
• Prior experience with large scale programs for private banks (or equivalent) is required.
• A confident and self-aware leader with a high degree of independence with analytical/problem solving ability.
• Demonstrated at least 10 years of experience in project management with the focus on financial services.
• Able to clearly articulates complex matters and provide recommendations on best course of action to be taken.
• Full end to end project management in a lead role.
• Executive level communication skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure.
