Job summary

NETS in Singapore seeks a motivated Project Management Intern with an interest in IT Infrastructure projects and project management practices aligned with PMI/PMP standards. The intern will support the project management team in tracking, monitoring, and coordinating multiple IT infrastructure projects using industry-standard methodologies.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's Degree in IT, CS, IS, Engineering, PM, or related fields.
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, data centers) and information security.
• Familiarity with project management concepts and lifecycle.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in planning, tracking, and monitoring IT infrastructure projects.
• Maintain project schedules, timelines, and milestone tracking reports.
• Follow up with project stakeholders to collect project updates and action items.
• Support the preparation, review, and maintenance of project documentation in accordance with PMP standards.
• Ensure project artifacts such as charters, meeting minutes, risk logs, issue logs, action trackers, and status reports are up to date.
• Track project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation actions.
• Prepare weekly and monthly project status reports and dashboards.
• Coordinate project meetings, document outcomes, and follow up on actions.
• Assist in maintaining project governance and compliance requirements.
• Support portfolio-level reporting and project tracking across multiple concurrent projects.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams responsible for servers, networks, cloud platforms, security, and data center operations.

Requirements

Education and Experience

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Project Management, or related disciplines.

Skills and Knowledge

• Basic understanding of IT Infrastructure concepts, including Servers and Data Centers, Network Infrastructure, Information Security, and IT Operations.
• Understanding of project management concepts and project lifecycle.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
