Job Description & Requirements
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager (Infrastructure) to manage and coordinate the delivery of IT infrastructure projects in a large, cross-functional enterprise environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project management, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, stakeholder coordination and delivery governance. The role requires strong experience working with infrastructure teams, business stakeholders, vendors and regional or global teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget and expected quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure projects across one or multiple sites.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones and delivery timelines.
- Track project scope, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues,resources and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams involving IT infrastructure teams, business stakeholders, vendors and external service providers.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, document key decisions and actions, and provide timely project status updates to stakeholders.
- Identify, assess and manage project risks, constraints and issues, and drive appropriate mitigation and resolution plans.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts and actual expenditure, ensuring appropriate financial tracking and project closure.
- Gather business and user requirements and support the development of relevant business use cases.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain effective communication across local, regional and global teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered according to established project management, governance, compliance and quality standards.
- Maintain project documentation, reporting, schedules, request logs and other project management information.
- Coordinate and secure appropriate resources required for successful project delivery.
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes, timelines and operational efficiency.
- Develop project documentation, processes and templates and support adoption across project teams.
- Support infrastructure lifecycle management, telecommunications and related technology initiatives where required.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure project management, preferably within a large enterprise or multinational environment.
- Proven experience managing medium to high-complexity infrastructure projects across multiple stakeholders and/or sites.
- Experience managing regional infrastructure projects involving local, regional and global teams.
- Strong experience in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, financial tracking, risk management and stakeholder management.
- Experience managing infrastructure project budgets of approximately USD 500,000 or above is preferred.
- Experience working within a Project Management Office (PMO) or structured project governance environment is advantageous.
- Experience supporting infrastructure projects within supply chain, manufacturing plants, distribution centres, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), or similar enterprise environments is advantageous.
- Experience with infrastructure design phases, lifecycle management projects and telecommunications service providers is an advantage.
- PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification is advantageous.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and deliver within tight timelines.
- Strong attention to detail with good organisational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
