Job Overview

Our client, an established construction company in Singapore, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee HDB construction projects, ensuring smooth site operations, timely project completion, cost efficiency, quality standards and workplace safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management: Lead and manage site construction teams, ensuring daily construction activities are executed according to project schedules and requirements.

• Site Operations: Supervise site personnel, subcontractors and construction activities to ensure workmanship and material quality standards are met.

• Planning & Coordination: Monitor project progress, anticipate potential delays and resolve technical or operational issues to minimise impact on project costs, timelines and quality.

• Resource Management: Review and approve material requisitions, site purchases, equipment rentals and resource allocation.

• Contract Administration: Coordinate with the Contracts Department on contractual variations, changes and project-related matters.

• Stakeholder Management: Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and relevant stakeholders to address project requirements and resolve site issues.

• Workplace Safety & Health (WSH): Chair WSH committee meetings, oversee risk assessments, conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with MOM regulations.

• Quality & Compliance: Ensure safe work procedures, environmental control measures and company policies are implemented across all site operations.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of working experience as a Project Manager, preferably in Singapore's building construction industry.

• HDB construction project experience is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of construction site management, project scheduling, subcontractor coordination and quality control.

• Familiarity with WSH regulations, risk assessments and construction safety procedures.

• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

• Able to independently manage site operations and deliver projects within agreed timelines and quality standards.
