Job summary

CREW by HRNET is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for a Singapore-based construction company to coordinate daily site activities, oversee progress, and ensure projects meet quality, safety and scheduling requirements.

The role focuses on coordinating with subcontractors, interpreting drawings, managing RFIs, and coordinating QA/QC and CONQUAS assessments while maintaining strict safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant construction industry experience.
• Experience in site coordination, construction scheduling and subcontractor management.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and resolve site-related technical issues.
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, CONQUAS assessments and WSH requirements.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• HDB construction project experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and coordinate daily construction activities with subcontractors and site teams.
• Monitor site progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.
• Review consultants' drawings, troubleshoot technical issues and raise RFIs as needed.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams and subcontractors on CONQUAS assessments and workmanship.
• Arrange inspections with REs and RTOs after relevant works.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations including site inspections.
• Liaise with purchasing and site administration on material procurement and deliveries.

Job Overview

Our client, an established construction company in Singapore, is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to coordinate daily construction activities, oversee site progress and ensure projects meet quality, safety and scheduling requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Coordination: Plan, schedule and coordinate daily construction activities with subcontractors and site teams.
• Project Monitoring: Monitor site progress and provide regular updates to the respective Project Manager.
• Technical Coordination: Review consultants' drawings, troubleshoot technical issues and raise Requests for Information (RFIs) when necessary.
• Quality Assurance: Coordinate with QA/QC teams and subcontractors on CONQUAS assessments and workmanship standards.
• Site Inspections: Arrange inspections with Resident Engineers (RE) and Resident Technical Officers (RTO) upon completion of relevant works.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with workplace safety, health and environmental regulations, including conducting site safety inspections.
• Resource Coordination: Liaise with purchasing and site administration teams on material procurement and deliveries.
