Job summary

The Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) at National University of Singapore is hiring an Executive (Project Management) for its Social Lab. The role focuses on coordinating with clients, vendors, and freelance interviewers to fulfill project obligations and support multiple Social Lab projects.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma holder, preferably with experience in projects commissioned by the public sector.
• Prior experience in project management is an advantage.
• Experience in training of full-time, part-time and freelance staff.
• Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to adhere to tight deadlines.
• Excellent leadership and team motivation capabilities.
• Familiarity with IT systems and computer software such as SPSS and MS Excel.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications a must.
• Experience with data collection, questionnaire design and/or statistical software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with clients, vendors and interviewers to fulfil project contractual obligations.
• Monitor and deliver required project reports and materials punctually.
• Ensure quality control of fieldwork operations and data collection.
• Manage interviewers’ workload and performance through workload distribution and coaching.
• Prepare training materials and conduct training sessions.
• Recruit interviewers and part-time staff to meet staffing needs and deadlines.
• Liaise with IT to programme, deploy and verify electronic questionnaires and conduct user acceptance testing.
• Work with Quality Control to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Develop and maintain workflow control systems.
• Manage project progress and coordinate with the administrative team for resources to meet deadlines and budgets.
