Qualifikationen

• Degree or diploma holder; experience in public sector projects preferred.

• Willingness to travel for field supervision.
• Experience in fieldwork operations or data collection is advantageous.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Strong English plus another language (Chinese/Malay/Tamil).

Job Description

The Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) is an autonomous research institute within the National University of Singapore. IPS is seeking to hire an Executive (Field Operations Management) for its Social Lab. This role supports the Field Manager in executing fieldwork duties for research projects and overseeing a team of interviewers to ensure the collection of high‑quality and timely data through face‑to‑face, door‑to‑door, and computer‑assisted telephone interviews using structured questionnaires.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Field Manager with project setup and planning.
• Coordinate and oversee fieldwork activities to ensure smooth execution.
• Recruit, train, and supervise field interviewers to meet project timelines and quality standards.
• Brief and supervise interviewers on fieldwork assignments.
• Monitor and ensure the accuracy and quality of collected data.
• Manage project resources efficiently to achieve timely completion of fieldwork.
• Verify data accuracy and acceptability before processing payments to interviewers and/or recruiters.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including various ministries in Singapore, to ensure successful project delivery.
