Job summary

A Life by Design is seeking a Senior Finance Executive to join our Singapore team. You will oversee core finance operations, strengthen project financial reporting, controls and visibility across multiple projects.

The role requires hands-on financial discipline, ability to work with management and project teams, and a proactive approach to improving processes. Immediate start with permanent full-time employment in Singapore.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
• Experience in a project-based business preferred.
• Experience in interior design, architecture, or construction is valuable.
• Progressive/milestone billing and project accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of project costing, gross profit, margin and cash flow.
• Hands-on experience with AP/AR, collections and supplier payments.
• Proficient with Xero and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and reconciliations in Xero.
• Prepare and issue client invoices, including deposits and milestone billing.
• Track client collections and follow up outstanding receivables.
• Manage supplier invoices, payment schedules and payments.
• Prepare and maintain project P&Ls and profitability reporting.
