Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and professional qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and accounting, ideally in financial services.
• Familiar with Singapore statutory/tax requirements (IRAS, GST, ACRA).
• Experience with MAS regulatory reporting is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in group consolidation, audit coordination, and financial compliance.
• Strong analytical skills and budgeting/forecasting experience.
• Ability to work independently and engage cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain full set of accounts and monthly close for group entities.
• Assist in group consolidation and furnish management reports and financial statements.
• Ensure timely filing of statutory reports with IRAS, GST, and ACRA.
• Support MAS regulatory reporting including annual returns and submissions.
• Support internal controls, governance and risk management practices.
• Coordinate audit schedules and provide documentation for external auditors.
• Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and variance analysis.

As Senior Finance Executive at a fast-growing financial advisory firm, you will support the Head of Finance in managing core finance functions, including the end-to-end finance function, covering accounting, consolidation, regulatory reporting, and financial planning. This is a hands‑on role with execution focus, delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, full compliance with Singapore's financial regulations (IRAS, GST, ACRA, MAS), and provide data-driven insights to support strategic decisions. This role requires a detail‑oriented self-starter who can operate independently and collaboratively with colleagues within the firm and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Control

• Prepare and maintain full set of accounts and monthly financial close across group entities.
• Assist in group consolidation and prepare management reports and financial statements.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of statutory reports with IRAS, GST, and ACRA.
• Support MAS regulatory reporting, including annual returns and financial submissions.
• Support implementation and monitoring of internal controls, governance and risk management practices.
• Coordinate audit schedules and support external auditors with required documentation.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning

• Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles across business units.
• Perform variance analysis and highlight key trends.
• Highlight observations in business unit profitability, cost allocations, and contribution margins.
• Assist in scenario analysis and financial planning activities.

Business Partnering & Strategic Support

• Work closely with the Distribution, Compliance, and Operations teams to support key initiatives.
• Support preparation of reports and insights to optimize business performance.
• Support campaign evaluation, incentive structures, and strategic resource planning.
• Support preparation of management reports and presentation materials.

Compliance, Governance & Process Improvement

• Support compliance with all relevant tax, corporate, and regulatory frameworks in Singapore.
• Maintain updated finance policies, documentation, and process workflows.
• Identify and support the implementation of process improvements and automation opportunities across finance operations.
• Support system enhancements, data integrity efforts, and operational scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and accounting, ideally in financial services or advisory firms.
• Familiar with Singapore's statutory and tax requirements (IRAS, GST, ACRA).
• Experience with MAS financial and regulatory reporting is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in group consolidation, audit coordination, and financial compliance.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Able to work independently and confidently engage cross‑functional stakeholders.

Preferred Skills & Tools (Nice to Have)

• Professional accounting qualification: CA, CPA, or ACCA.
