Job summary

HRnetOne partners with a well-established engineering and construction management specialist to fill an Accounts & Finance role across multi-jurisdiction projects. You will manage project-based accounting, financial reporting, and compliance in a multi-currency environment.

Based in Singapore, you will verify invoices, prepare management and cash flow reports, coordinate with tax agents, ensure statutory filings, and support project financing.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent.
• At least 5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably within EPC/EPCM, greenfield or major brownfield project environments; experience with project-based accounting
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP/Project Costing Software (e.g. SAP, IFS, IFCA or equivalent)
• Working knowledge of project/percentage-of-completion accounting, multi-currency consolidation, and exposure to multiple statutory/regulatory frameworks (e.g. SFRS, IFRS, and other local GAAP across Malaysia, India, EU, Japan, and USA)

Responsibilities

• Verify vendor invoices, issue invoices, daily bookkeeping, bank and accounts reconciliation, maintain accurate financial records, and handle banking matters
• Prepare and submit Management Reports, Project P&L Reports, Cash Flow Planning & Forecast, Annual Budget, and other financial reports on a timely basis
• Liaise with tax agents; prepare and submit tax reporting, filings, and payments to tax authorities
• Ensure all reports are complete and accurate in accordance with Group policies, local accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
• Follow up closely with clients for timely AR collection, and arrange prompt AP payment, loan repayment, and other operating expenses as due
• Assist with project financing applications, including compiling project information, cash flow projections, and related documentation per business/bank requirements
• Control and monitor intercompany transactions and balances, trade/non-trade (AR & AP) transactions and balances, company cash flow, and balance sheet items
• Coordinate with the company secretary on corporate matters, ensuring accurate and timely statutory filings
• Liaise with auditors and support statutory audits to ensure timely completion
