The GMP Group is seeking a Cost Accountant in Singapore to support project accounting tasks, including setup, maintenance, client billings, collections and financial reporting. The role covers WIP reviews, revenue recognition, and project profitability across engagements, with collaboration across PMs and senior leaders.

You will manage project budgets, billing cycles, and AP/AR processes, while ensuring compliance with company policies and local laws.

Competenze

• Experience in project-based accounting, ideally in professional services.
• Hands-on with WIP, revenue recognition, project billing and collections.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for stakeholders.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office.

Mansioni

• Monitors project financial health: WIP, revenue, backlog, variances.
• Leads project health reviews with PMs and leaders for finance insights.
• Manages project setup and maintenance in the accounting system.
• Reviews contracts to reflect financial and client requirements.
• Oversees client billing, AR, collections, and cash flow projections.
• Partners with PMs on collections and stop-work processes if needed.
• Manages AP activities, payments, coding and approvals.
• Supports revenue recognition and project reporting.
• Conducts project reviews and internal spot audits.
• Prepares management reports and ad hoc analyses.
• Drives process improvements in controls and reporting.
• Provides global project accounting coverage for special projects.
