Job summary

THE EDGE PARTNERSHIP HOLDINGS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Accountant to join the finance team. You will support day-to-day financial operations with a focus on project revenue and cost accounting for large-scale regional projects.

This role offers strong exposure to long-term contract accounting and the opportunity to grow within a dynamic, expanding business, while collaborating with project teams and contributing to budgets, forecasts, and monthly management reports.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA/CA progress is a plus.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, including exposure to POC/contract accounting.
• Background in project-based industries such as construction, engineering, infrastructure, or energy is preferred.
• Good working knowledge of accounting software and strong Excel skills.
• Meticulous, organised, and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle full-set accounts, including general ledger, bank reconciliations, and accruals.
• Support month-end and year-end closing, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with revenue recognition for long-term contracts using the POC method in line with IFRS 15.
• Track project costs, maintain work-in-progress schedules, and prepare project profitability reports.
• Work with project teams to gather cost data and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and monthly management reports.
• Support statutory audits, GST filings, and tax submissions.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle full-set accounts, including general ledger, bank reconciliations, and accruals

• Assist with revenue recognition for long‑term contracts using the percentage‑of‑completion (POC) method, in line with SFRS(I) 15 / IFRS 15
• Track project costs, maintain work-in-progress schedules, and prepare project profitability reports
• Work with project teams to gather cost data and resolve discrepancies
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and monthly management reports
• Support statutory audits, GST filings, and tax submissions
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; ACCA or CA progress is an advantage
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, including exposure to POC / contract accounting
• Background in project‑based industries such as construction, engineering, infrastructure, or energy is preferred
