Job summary

The GMP Group in Singapore is seeking an organized accounting professional to support accounts payable, accounts receivable and month-end activities. You will process PO invoices, reconcile vendor accounts, and post payments to SAP while maintaining accurate cashbook records.

The role also covers GST reporting, audits, and collaboration with multiple departments to ensure timely closings and reliable financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Process system and non-system PO invoices and reconcile vendor accounts.
• Prepare payments (Giro, TT, ad-hoc, checks) and post to SAP.
• Enter invoices into SAP and monitor overdue accounts receivable balances.
• Assist in the month-end closing process and perform monthly SAP clearing.
• Prepare and distribute reports to management after the monthly closing.
• Check and compile GST reports and coordinate ACAP renewal/audits.
• Verify staff claims, scrap sales, and conduct quarterly open PO checks.
• Assist in audits, year-end stock takes, and respond to cost queries from other departments.
• Handle insurance declarations, government surveys submissions, and perform ad-hoc tasks.
