Job summary

SAM BILT PTE LTD is seeking a creative Project Executive to join our commercial interior design team in Singapore. You will coordinate projects from design development through site execution and handover, blending strong design sense with practical construction knowledge.

You will leverage AI-powered design tools and 3D visualization to develop concepts, refine renderings and present compelling visuals to clients while ensuring project deliverables meet timelines and budgets.

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented and tech-savvy Project Executive to join our commercial interior design team.

The ideal candidate must have commercial interior design projects, with the ability to coordinate projects from design development through site execution and final handover. We are looking for someone who understands both the creative and technical aspects of interior design and can manage project deliverables, coordinate stakeholders and monitor site progress.

In addition, the candidate should have hands-on experience using AI-powered design tools and 3D visualization technologies to develop design concepts, generate creative alternatives, enhance renderings and produce compelling visual presentations for clients.

The successful candidate will combine proven project coordination experience, strong design sensibility, technical knowledge and practical AI-assisted design skills to deliver creative, functional and buildable commercial interior solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Commercial Interior Design & AI-Assisted Visualization

• Develop and enhance interior design concepts, mood boards, material palettes and visual presentations for commercial projects.

• Use AI-powered design tools to generate and refine interior concepts, layouts, finishes, lighting schemes and furniture arrangements.

• Produce AI-assisted renderings, concept images and design variations to communicate design ideas effectively to clients.

• Refine AI-generated visuals to ensure consistency with the design intent, project requirements, material selections and practical construction constraints.

• Prepare design proposals and presentations that communicate concepts clearly and professionally to clients.

• Translate client briefs, brand requirements and functional needs into creative, practical and commercially viable design solutions.

2. Project Coordination & Execution

• Coordinate commercial interior design and fit-out projects from initial planning and design development through site execution and final handover.

• Monitor project schedules, deliverables, budgets and progress against agreed timelines.

• Coordinate with clients, designers, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.

• Attend site meetings and inspections to monitor work progress, identify issues and follow up on rectification and coordination matters.

• Coordinate design drawings, construction details, material specifications, samples and technical submissions.

• Track project milestones, maintain project documentation and prepare progress reports.

• Assist in resolving design, material, site and coordination issues to minimise delays and ensure work is carried out according to the approved design and project requirements.

3. Technical Design & Documentation

• Interpret and coordinate floor plans, elevations, technical drawings, construction details and material specifications.

• Ensure proposed design concepts and AI-assisted visuals can be translated into practical design documentation and construction requirements.

• Coordinate drawing revisions, material selections and design changes with the relevant project stakeholders.

• Maintain accurate project records, meeting notes, schedules and handover documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in commercial interior design, interior fit-out or interior design project coordination.

• Demonstrated experience coordinating commercial interior projects from design development through site execution and completion.

• Practical, hands-on experience using AI-powered tools for interior design concept development, visualization, rendering enhancement or design presentation.

• Able to provide examples of completed interior design projects and AI-assisted design work in a portfolio.

• Ability to interpret floor plans, elevations, technical drawings and material specifications.

• Good understanding of commercial interior design, materials, finishes, construction methods and site coordination.

• Proficiency in relevant design, presentation or 3D visualization software.

• Strong project organization, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

• Creative, detail-oriented and willing to explore new design technologies.

• Able to manage multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholder requirements effectively.

• Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents only.

Preferred Advantages

• Experience in office, retail, F&B, showroom or corporate interior design projects.

• Experience with AI image generation, image-to-image workflows, rendering enhancement or AI-assisted 3D visualization.

• Experience with 3D modelling, rendering or visualization software.

• Ability to refine AI-generated concepts into realistic, technically feasible and construction-ready design proposals.

• Strong client presentation skills and the ability to explain design concepts, material choices and proposed solutions clearly.
