Job summary

SCES PTE. LTD. seeks a Site Manager or Deputy Project Manager to lead project execution at client sites, specifically for chemical system projects in semiconductor, LCD, LED, and solar sectors.

You will report to the SCES project manager, coordinate with clients and main contractors, and drive schedule, budget, and safety initiatives while overseeing a team of subcontractors and field personnel.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or E&I Engineering field.
• Capability in leading project teams and managing site execution.
• Experience as senior project engineer / construction manager or project manager in semiconductor-related fields.
• Understanding of P&ID and process charts for chemical systems.
• Proficiency in Mandarin and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project execution at client site for chemical systems projects.
• Coordinate with client and main contractor to meet project schedule and budget.
• Prepare and present weekly/monthly project reports to clients and management.
• Oversee site safety, EHS compliance, and risk assessments.
• Lead subcontractors for piping, cabling, and equipment installation activities.
• Manage site materials stock and installation planning.
• Attend project and construction meetings with end users and main contractors.

Job Description

• The candidate will be assigned to SCES project site and work as site manager or deputy project manager at client’s project site
• Fully in charge of project execution at our client (Semiconductor, LCD, LED, Solar) site for chemical system projects
• Support and report to SCES’s overall project manager on project status, schedule, execution plan, and daily & weekly site work activities
• Attend the site check and clarification with Client and or main-con; Prepare the project budget sheet and quotation (if required).
• Attend project meeting or / and construction meeting with end user and main-con, prepare project report and present status at regular basis
• Prepare and update overall project schedule, construction & installation plan; Prepare and present project weekly and monthly reports to clients and management team
• Plan site construction and equipment installation work activities; Lead a team of sub-contractors to carry out piping, cable installation and chemical flushing, qualification work
• Co-ordinate with client’s or main-con person in charge for site work arrangement and manage the site work activities to meet project schedule
• Site work activities procedure, method of statement, risk assessment review and ensure project site incident and accident free
• Work with EHS team, perform daily or/ and weekly inspection to ensure work safety and compliance with site EHS rules
• Perform troubleshooting of chemical systems
• Manage material and spare parts stock on-site for project works

Requirements

• At least Diploma holder in Mechanical or E&I Engineering Field
• Possess good project management skills; capable in leading and managing project team
• At least 3 years of relevant project handling experience as senior project engineer, construction manager or project manager in semi-conductor field; for those who have more project experience, will be considered as Senior position
• Understanding of P&ID and process chart for chemical systems
• Proficient in both Mandarin & English
• Willing to work overtime when required
• Good adaptability and flexibility; Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in MS office, MS Project, Auto CAD skill
• Experience in PLC and SCADA programming is an advantage
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good leadership and project handling skill
