Job summary

Flare Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the deployment and integration of enterprise network and security solutions in Singapore. The role focuses on delivering secure, scalable infrastructure and coordinating with project managers on scope and timelines.

You will implement platforms from Cisco, Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet and associated tools, while guiding design, testing and operational handover.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a relevant field is required.
• 2–3 years of hands-on network security project delivery experience.
• Experience configuring switches, routers, firewalls and UPS.
• CCNA/CCNP or firewall vendor certification preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical skills; proactive and independent.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment, configuration, integration and optimisation of network and security infrastructure.
• Act as technical lead on mid to large projects with project managers on scope and timelines.
• Implement and support platforms including Cisco, ISE, Firepower, Alcatel, SolarWinds, Palo Alto, Check Point and Fortinet.
• Lead root cause analysis and incident resolution for network performance and security issues.
• Prepare and maintain high-level and low-level designs, baselines, test procedures and docs.
• Run knowledge-sharing sessions and post-incident reviews.
• Ensure deliverables meet security and governance requirements and support handover to operations.

Type: Contract, [12 months, renewable] | Salary: S$5,500 - S$6,500/month
Start: Within 2-3 weeks

We are looking for a Project Engineer to lead the deployment and integration of enterprise network and security solutions

What you’ll do

• Lead deployment, configuration, integration and optimisation of network and security infrastructure
• Act as technical lead on mid to large projects, working closely with Project Managers on scope, timelines and quality
• Implement and support platforms including Cisco, Cisco ISE, Cisco Firepower, Alcatel, SolarWinds, Palo Alto, Check Point and Fortinet
• Lead root cause analysis and incident resolution for network performance, security and connectivity issues
• Prepare and maintain HLDs, LLDs, configuration baselines, acceptance test procedures and operational documentation
• Run knowledge-sharing sessions and post-incident reviews
• Ensure deliverables meet security and governance requirements, and support handover from project to operations

What you’ll bring

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, EEE or related field
• 2-3 years of hands-on network security project delivery: configuring and troubleshooting switches, routers, firewalls and UPS
• Experience gathering user requirements and managing vendors
• Skills in network security design, planning, risk assessment, implementation and validation
• CCNA/CCNP or firewall vendor certification preferred
