Job summary

Morgan McKinley Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Senior Network & Security Engineer to implement and maintain our network infrastructure across data centres, campuses, remote offices and public cloud environments. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and security of the network.

The role involves hands-on deployment, on-call rotation, and collaboration with vendors for architecture, procurement and installation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.
• 8–14 years of experience in core network technologies incl. Cisco ACI, Checkpoint & Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Expertise in Cisco ACI Multi Pod / Multi Site deployments.
• Experience with F5 Load balancers & WAF.
• Experience in managing Checkpoint & Palo Alto Firewalls & IPS.
• Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN & network security.

Responsibilities

• Lead network deployment projects with timely, successful implementations.
• Collaborate with vendors for solution architecture, procurement & installation.
• Provide Tier-3 support and participate in on-call schedule for multi-vendor networks.
• Create, review High/Low Level Design & operational practices.
• Drive network operations and efficiency via automation.
• Deploy and work with AI tools for network operations and anomaly detection.
• Configure MCP servers to enable LLM interaction with network infra.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Network & Security Engineer to join our team in the Network Operations and Engineering function. The ideal candidate will play a key role in implementing and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure. The role involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the network. This is a hands‑on role supporting network engineering, operations and deployment across data centres, campuses, remote offices and public cloud environments

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead network deployment projects, ensuring timely and successful implementation of network solutions.
• Work closely with vendors and third-party providers for Solution Architecture, Equipment procurement and installation.
• Provide Tier-3 support for Network & Security related issues and participate in a rotating Network Operations on-call schedule, including weekends, supporting a multi-vendor network for Enterprise Network.
• Create, maintain and review High Level Design, Low Level Design & Operational practices across the teams.
• Drive network operations and day-to-day task efficiencies through Automation.
• Deploy and work with AI tools applied to network operations, including AIOps platforms, AI-assisted troubleshooting, and anomaly detection
• Work on the deployment and configuration of Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to enable large language models to interact with and query network infrastructure and operational data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 8 -14 years of experience in core Network technologies including Cisco ACI, Checkpoint & Palo Alto Firewalls, F5 Load balancer & WAF.
• Expertise in Cisco ACI Multi Pod / Multi Site deployments.
• Expertise in Application Delivery Network products - F5 Load balancers & WAF
• Expertise in managing Checkpoint & Palo Alto Firewalls & IPS
• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing complex network for Datacenter or Public cloud migration projects.
• Proven ability to implement and oversee large-scale network deployments.
• One or more of the following Certifications - CCIE, CCNP, PCNSE, CCSE, AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty or equivalents
• Strong fundamental knowledge in LAN, WAN and Network Security technologies and products.
• Experience in Application Delivery Network products -Bluecoat Proxy & Akamai CDN.
• Experience in managing Infoblox IPAM, DNS, DHCP solutions.
• Experience in managing Micro segmentation products like Illumio and Guardicore.
• Experience in managing Voice Infrastructure with Cisco CUCM and Verint Recorders.
• Experience in managing network management systems like SolarWinds, Riverbed & Thousand Eyes.
• Experience in performing Deep packet capture analysis using Wireshark or Similar products.
• Experience in Network Automation using Ansible & Terraform.
• Experience in managing Network Security Products like NAC, ISE & Algosec.
• Excellent project and vendor management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence and communicate effectively with non-technical audiences and senior management.
