You will oversee planning, execution, and delivery while coordinating with electricians and other engineers, reviewing drawings, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 2-3 years of professional experience in electrical project engineering or site management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, execution, and completion of electrical projects from conception to delivery.
• Coordinate with electricians, technicians, and other engineering professionals.
• Review and validate drawings, designs, and specs for compliance with standards and client requirements.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and resource allocation for timely, cost-effective delivery.
• Conduct site inspections and quality audits to verify standards and identify issues.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation and reports.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on sites.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges and implement solutions.

About the role

We are seeking a talented Project Engineer (Electrical) to join our team at our Tagore North-East Region office. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the delivery and execution of our electrical engineering projects. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing project timelines, coordinating technical activities, and ensuring that electrical installations and systems meet our high standards of quality and safety. Key responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of electrical projects from conception through to delivery

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including electricians, technicians, and other engineering professionals

• Review and validate technical drawings, designs, and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements

• Monitor project progress, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery

• Conduct site inspections and quality audits to verify work standards and identify any potential issues

• Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, reports, and records

• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on all project sites

• Troubleshoot technical challenges and implement effective solutions

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline

• Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in electrical project engineering or site management

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and industry standards (e.g., IEC, BS standards)

• Proficiency in project management tools and software

• Excellent understanding of electrical safety protocols and regulatory requirements

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications

• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues

• Experience with AutoCAD or similar design software is desirable

• Professional certifications (e.g., Professional Engineer status or equivalent) are advantageous
