Job summary

LIAN HUAH ENGINEERING PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to lead on-site operations, supervise subcontractors, and deliver high-impact electrical infrastructure projects.

This role requires a diploma/degree in electrical engineering, experience with installation and A&A projects, proficiency in MS Project and MS Office, and strong English communication; Mandarin is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience in electrical installation, turnkey, or A&A projects in Singapore's construction industry is an added advantage.
• Strong grounding in electrical installation and site coordination.
• Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office; AutoCAD/REVIT exposure is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, high personal responsibility, and a proactive team mindset.
• Strong written and spoken English; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Project Execution & Site Leadership: Coordinate daily site operations, supervise subcontractors, and resolve site-specific technical challenges to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
• Financial & Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, prepare monthly progress claims, support financial forecasting, and identify value-engineering opportunities.
• Technical Supervision & T&C: Lead Testing & Commissioning activities, advise on equipment selection and installation methodologies, and conduct client system handovers.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Represent the company in technical and progress meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• WSH & Quality Compliance: Partner with the Safety team to enforce Workplace Safety & Health regulations, SOPs, and quality control on-site.
• Mentorship: Share best practices and technical guidance to support junior engineers and site staff.

We are looking for an energetic Electrical Project Engineer to lead on-site operations, solve complex engineering problems, and shape Singapore's built environment.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience: Prior experience managing electrical installation, turnkey, or Addition & Alteration (A&A) projects in Singapore's construction industry is an added advantage.
• Technical Skills: Strong grounding in electrical installation and site coordination. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project is required; experience with AutoCAD/REVIT is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, high personal responsibility, and a proactive team mindset.
• Language Proficiency: Strong written and spoken English. Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients, consultants, and trade partners.
• Working Conditions: Willingness to work primarily on project sites and adjust working hours when required for critical project milestones.
