Job summary

METRO MARINE ENGINEERING & TRADING PTE. LTD. is seeking a design engineer to perform calculations, cost estimation, and preparation of detailed plans for marine projects.

You will coordinate with suppliers and sub-contractors on tender specifications and obtain quotations, while ensuring compliance with drawings and flow-rate requirements. You will also produce catalogs of materials and equipment for management and participate in site meetings with clients and consultants to ensure project

Responsibilities

• Design calculation, cost estimation, preparation of plans and details engineering design.
• Coordinate with supplier / sub-contractor of the tender specification and obtain the quotation from them.
• Check and ensure the equipment and material offered in compliance with the specification and drawings.
• Check and inspect drawing design according to flow rate.
• Produce material and equipment catalogues to Management
• Attend to site meetings and liaise with client/consultants
