Job summary

PENTA-OCEAN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LIMITED is seeking a Senior Engineer / Engineer to support the Tender Manager in technical planning and compliance for construction projects in Singapore. The role focuses on detailed tender planning, cross-disciplinary coordination, and adherence to design codes and standards.

You will work with C&S consultants, prepare temporary works designs, and develop master schedules and methodologies for submission. Strong MS Project and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering/Project Management.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (local consultancy or general contractor) for Engineer role.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience (local consultancy or general contractor) for Senior Engineer role.
• Experience in tender preparation (ERSS Plan, Site Utilization Plan, methodology, sequencing, programming, Architectural, etc.) preferred.
• Familiarity with codes of practice and authority submission procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• To work with C&S consultants to develop a structural scheme for buildings
• To work with C&S consultant to prepare temporary works design for construction planning
• To carry out engineering design according to Eurocodes, relevant international design codes and Singapore Standards
• To plan a detailed construction methodology, sequencing, required resources and project quality plan for tender technical submission
• To prepare a micro scheduling with other trades / disciplines and Master program for submission
• To collaborate with Tender QS team for costing purposes
• Provide technical advice to team members/colleagues in supporting or leading roles and embrace a culture that values teamwork
